The Clinton Historical Society provides many opportunities to educate and inform, including the following:
- Lectures and Demonstrations – Railroads, early New England furniture, antique quilts, and flower arranging have been topics of past programs.
- Abraham Pierson School Program – Primary-school students tour Old Brick, work with old tools, study early maps and photos, and sample herbs at a program designed just for them.
- The Clinton Historical Society Ernest C. Burnham, Jr. Scholarship is awarded annually to a graduating senior of The Morgan School “who has shown a genuine appreciation of history and has demonstrated outstanding achievement in the field”.
- Periodic production of publications and films including the booklet, A Walk through Historic Clinton and the DVD, Clinton – Our Town.
